So, after getting back from the honeymoon, I’ve been waking up early. Yesterday, at 6am. Today, at 5:10. Not tired, but I’m sure I’m going to crash halfway through the day. I can’t imagine doing this on a regular basis for business (yes, you know who I’m looking at) and remaining sane.
There are worse fates, I suppose, but it’s going to be unpleasant this afternoon when I crash, face down on my desk.
You never know. I get up between 6 and 7 every weekday, but not too many years ago I would have called that crazy. It’s so ingraned at this point that I even woke up at 8:30 on Saturday and couldn’t fall back asleep.
Embrace it while you have it, but given your commuting hours I understand that your choices are super-mega-Joe-early and late like your old schedule.
Believe it or not, I’ve pretty much gotten to the point where it hardly affects me.
Sure, I’ll be jet-lagged, but it’s not a game stopper anymore. I guess I’m just used to being so damn out of whack all the time 🙂
I’m with h on waking up early regularly, but I have noooooo problem sleeping in late on weekends. In fact, 11am mornings are becoming quite the norm.
