So, I’ve been watching a little bit of American Idol, ’cause Ei-Nyung’s been watching it, and I just wanna put this down now, ’cause I figure if I don’t say it, I won’t be able to say, “I told you so.”

Specifically, the two things that really stand out for me: In tonight’s performance, he was the only person to hit the first note with confidence, and moreover, hit it *right*. Secondly, he’s got personality, in a good way. Even though some of the past AI winners have had great voices, they lacked the personality to make them stars, with the sole exception of Kelly Clarkson. Chris Sligh works both those angles, and because of that, IMO, he’s a lock for the win.
Hm. Guess I was wrong.
